About The author

Sam Sharkey is a bachelor of arts student at Victoria University, majoring in literary studies.

For his graduating project, Sam has written a novella centred on a future in which humanity is governed by a single corporation and the majority of the human workforce earns a living through delivering fast food to the social elite. Drawing upon academic research and interviews with present-day delivery drivers, the project aims to be an engrossing read and highlight the precarity of casual labour and the gig economy under late-stage capitalism
